Chelsea Handler is a comedian, television host, producer, writer and actor listed by Time magazine in 2012 as one of its 100 Most Influential People.
She's brash, funny, abrasive, blunt, candid, sometimes vulgar and very successful. She's what I call "one great broad."
She's written five best-selling books, hosted a 7-season late-night talk show Chelsea Lately, and has multiple projects in the works with Netflix. She then produced and starred in Chelsea Does, a four-part documentary series in which she discusses the topics of marriage, racism, Silicon Valley, and drugs.
In January 2016 Handler sat for an interview with Kevin Fallon who wrote an extensive and excellent piece for The Daily Beast in which the comedian says "When you’re a woman and you’re forthright, people are like, ‘Oh, she’s a bitch.’ Well then, I’m a bitch, you know? But everybody is a bunch of different things. You can be a bitch and be wonderful. You can be a wonderful bitch.”
Bingo! As soon as I saw that article I knew I'd found another perfect quote to stitch.
